TV Set To Now Bug...
« on: June 15, 2022, 02:28:54 am »

The Television (Standard Screen) Set to Now has a bug...
It correctly changes the Day & Date to current but does nothing for the time.

I don't see that.

Time is changed to the nearest earlier half-hour mark (i.e. at the beginning of the current half-hour interval).

Seems like it works or does not work depending on how it is used.

If I change the Time window from let's say 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM then click on Set to Now button it indeed does work correctly.
However...
if I scroll down to a 9:00 PM show & click on a 9:00 PM show, then click on the Set to Now it does not work... neither the 9:00 PM shows are reset to 6:30 PM or is the time rest to the current.

The second method is the way I use it most of the time.

Can it be fixed🤷‍♂️

Thanks

It works as it was designed, maybe not as you expected.  The time showing in the time drop-down list is the starting time for displayed page of shows.
The meaning of the button is to set the time in the time box to current time.  In other words, it sets the page to show all shows starting at current time, of the next 24 hours.  It does not reset your selection unless your selection is outside of this 24 hour period.

Therefore the button does nothing unless you have previously changed either the date value or the (starting) time value.

Sorry about that.

I don't like it, but guess I'll just have to live with it as is, unless someone else complains about it.
