Can't replace Album Art
« on: June 26, 2022, 01:51:18 pm »

I'm sort of new to JRiver 29 and am converting my iTunes library over, and re-recording all, to JRiver.
It's been an interesting experience, but have figured it out for the most part. But, this is stumping me. While I was ripping the disk, it was to replace the existing files, and for the most part that went fine, but then I looked at the Album Art and it was messed up. See the picture attached. I have read and read and tried and tried, but I can not get this replaced with the correct image. Going through it, it won't be replaced, nor be removed.
Any thoughts on how I can do this?

The image can be stored in the tags, or in the directory with the tracks or both.
Also, the thumbnail might be bad even if the image is not.
Right-click on the album and check out the cover art functions.

I'm not sure exactly what I did.. But I saw that there was an "Inside File", which I have no idea what that is. But, anyway somehow I managed to delete that and my real Album Art image showed up.

Thanks for the tips. Maybe you know what this Inside File is?

Maybe you know what this Inside File is?

That means the cover art is in the file's tag.

I assume that's not the image you are looking for.
You can right-click on the album or track and do
Cover Art->Get From internet

and see if the server can find a new image for your music.

If it can't and you can download a cover art image on the internet somewhere, you can do

Cover Art->Add from file.
