Unfinished Work -- Your Thoughts Invited

1. Particles would be classic example here I think ;) There a lot of old threads about the bugs/shortcoming about particles in the forum which can be discovered if it would get selected to be worked on.
2. List Style Tiles displayed fields are left hard coded which is hindering the potential of the list style
3. Artist images in the playing now could use some last touches. Maybe add option to use some transition filter and/or e.g. ken burns effect

I second the need for the Particles
Particles is a great feature which can be used to create searchable scene video libraries (footage / video clip / Movie clip libraries, or sound libraries) but is actually difficult to work with because it takes too much time for each particle to be created.
The following feature ("Video Editor-like" as Jmone characterised it) can tackle this problem.
I suggest an advanced menu (buttons appearing close to the video playing buttons) that will have the following buttons and text fields "Particle Start", "End", "(re)name, "Add", "Keywords"(customizable field or optional Library fields), and maybe -+ for adding; so that we can do it while playing the file. By pressing "Add" the particle can be added to library, or/and to a "new particles" playlist).
Additionally:
- Ability to export them together with their playlist to portable devices/
(Also here jmone suggested that MC "convert" functions, on a particle(s) can be used to get new files that can be used from portable devices)

May be I am wrong - but for DSD over DLNA it is not possible to bitstream e.g DSD up to DSD64 else convert to pcm. Using USB, AES as audio Interface this is possible.

Under Media Network the setup for the DLNA server has an advanced option to do DSD over DoP. If you do not check that it sends native DSD. So, it should not be converting to PCM. And, the conversion option needs to be set to Original.
Manfred:
That is not what I asked. If Using DLNA and bitstreamin DSD you can not configure it like this: If dsd64 bitstream else convert to pcm.
dtc:
Yes, that would be a nice option, like it is for usb.
You should be able to do what you want by setting up two different servers and using zone switch to pick the right one based on the sample rate. Not as good as having a direct option, but it might be an option.
