Converting File mono

This to me is simply stereo that was sourced from something mono.
Probably just that. But with two channels. What I mean is a conversion to one channel only.
I am working with WaveLab and that easily can adjust channels or make a one channel mono file.
But I thought that MC can do that, also, and in fact did until some builds ago.

Your point is well taken.  It used to work and now it does not.  Hopefully someone on staff can help you out.

I just converted one of the tracks from Adele's new album to mono.  It worked fine.

I used APE as the format, but that shouldn't matter.

Ok, I tried again but the result was the same as before.
Something wrong with the settings?
