Trying to figure out if this is a new feature and where I could turn it off

Recently I noticed that my stereos are turned on when they shouldn't be.

I then figured out that when I start up JRiver 29.0.66 on my Mac Mini running Monterrey 12.4 it turns on my Denon and sets the input to the streaming input.  I've only recently had this start to happen.  This might be a new MacOS feature that I don't know about, but I thought I could ask here if anyone has noticed this behavior.

It's like it is initializing an Airplay session which this receiver supports.

Is there a toggle or setting in JR that I can change so this doesn't happen?
