Hello

When I rip a new CD to my NAS, I let JRiver 28 do an audio analysis and find the lyrics. The volume is displayed in the waveform.
Now I have additionally installed JRiver on my laptop. The lap top also fetches the music from the NAS
So far so good, only the volume is not displayed in the waveform. When I do a new audio analysis, the corresponding pieces of music are displayed with the waveform again. Looks like the waveform, or audio analysis, is local only. Is that so?
Then I would have to do an audio analysis for the whole library again, like the first time JRiver introduced this form of display. When changing from MC 25 to 28, the waveform was adopted.

- Is there a way to get the waveform back out?
- Is there any way to select the complete library and do a complete audio analysis?

Right-click on the player bar (where the info for the current track being played is shown), and from the context menu, select Show Waveform (if available)

When I look at the TAG-Editor: Waveform is empty!
Songtext, DR... are in the Tags.

Looks like the Waveform is only local. But why??

Go to MC's Options > Library & Folders > Manage Library Fields and scroll down to Waveform, check the Save in file tags (when possible) box and hit OK. Setting this option should write the waveform tag for newly imported/analyzed files. As for existing files, you can CTRL+A to select them all in your library, right click on them, Library Tools > Update Tags (from Library) which should then write the waveform data to the tags.

Also make sure the "Analyse Waveform" in the top part of the "Library & Folders" page/form is ticked

Thank you very much. That's how it worked.
I had already found and tried all of these things but didn't know the details of how to use them.
It took a few hours for the whole library, but now it's running as requested.
