Intermittently... Music Goes Silent, Player Keeps Playing

This issue has been since this version... at least that I am aware of. Seemingly random music files that play just fine in other players will "Go Silent". Often I am working online and when I switch over to see what the issue is I can see that the Position bar indicator is still moving as expected, just no sound. If I use the JRiver file locator and open that same file using a different player, it plays fine. Suggestions?
