slideshow complicated to run
« on: March 10, 2003, 09:55:45 am »

It is a little bit tedious to run slideshow. After to select photos you have to 'add to playing now' and then to go to "playing now" view and then to set 'set full screen' mode and then to 'play'. My wife has not been convinced at all when I wanted to show her my nice new photo album (I imported 9000+ photos through a XML import from my legacy database)...

It would be nice to add a new command to the contextual menu ('play', 'play in full screen mode', 'add playing now',...).

'Play in full screen mode' is better than 'run slideshow' as that keeps this nice consistency between all media.

You can configure MC to do that now.

Got to Options -> General -> Jump on Play and set it to either Full Screen (always) or Full Screen (if has display).

Then you'd set it to Full Screen (if has display). This will play video and images full screen, but do nothing for music.
