Media Center 30 Upgrade License into MC29.0.86

<< < (2/2)

FrostyCanada:
Thanks Jim, I will try downloading MC29.0.87 and will report back.

Two things:

1) Maybe JRiver should send out a corrected email because it only mentions MC29.0.86 and not .87

***These new MC30 licenses work now with MC29.0.86 (check our Download Page)

2) Maybe upload MC29.0.87 to the forum?  I  tried the Mac download page yesterday evening but it wasn’t working (error message).  Following instructions it says to go to the forum to download the latest version there which was MC29.0.86.

Thanks again for your support.

Brian

JimH:
Thanks.  I see the problem on the Download Page.  29.0.87 can be downloaded with the link below the Mac Download button or from the MC29 for Mac board.

bob:
The link from the download page works now as well.

FrostyCanada:
Hello Jim, I just wanted to let you know that I installed MC29.0.87

I opened the app and it shows as registered to me (no change).

The email I received from JRiver following the purchase of MC30 was to 1) run media center, and enter my registration code under “help>install license” or on start-up screen?

When I check under  “help”  I don’t see “install license” as an option only “registration info” and it says registered to me.

My start-up screen goes directly to my album view , I don’t see where to enter my new key.

But I can “reset and restore license” but this isn’t covered in the email I received when buying MC30 and I’m not sure if it’s the best thing to do.

So will MC29 eventually flag me to update my software to MC30 or must I dump 29 and install 30?

Brian

JimH:
When MC30 is released, we will send instructions.  No need to do anything else right now.
