Does jriver utilize SLI/NVlink...?

Can't seem to find any topic covering dual video cards. I think adding another card to my system would be way more affordable than getting a newer, higher end card. And it would help with my video editing anyway....

No. SLI is dead. NVLink isn't applicable here.
New GPU.
Multiple cards won't help much for editing either. You use multiple cards for certain kinds of rendering / processing but chances are, what you're doing won't support that.
