Hi guys, I experiemented with restoring a backup library to a clean operating system and although most things got recovered as is (Views, Playlist etc hierarchies, Options) some have not. These are at least 2 I noticed:

• User defined buttons on the toolbar
• User defined Player Display rules

Is there any way to completely backup everything, so when I restore it, the system is in identical state as at the time of the backup? And if not, what sections of the system I will have to manually reconfigure in addition to the above?

Both of those items are restored on my systems when I do a Library Restore.  Notice that when you do a restore there are two checkboxes:

* Restore Library
* Restore Settings

I believe the two items you mentioned would be part of "settings".  Make sure that's checked.

If that does not work perhaps someone else has some ideas.

Yes, you are right. On my system (Linux) this required a restart of MC.
