Only one monitor non retina via hdmi ViewSonic VP3881 37.5-inch (3840 × 1600), latest intel mac mini

Version of MacOS?
And how can I make that happen? Have both MC and Media Server running, I close MC using File->Exit, Media Server is still running, I do "Show Media Center" from the Media Server icon and it's the same size it was before.
