MC 28 crashes on MacOS 13 Ventura

bob:
Pinned post #4 still applies to Ventura and likely all new versions of MacOS.

I reinstalled Media Center 28 and it worked, except when I go to Display or Theatre view and try to exit, Media Center goes to white screen with the album cover in the lower corner and prevents me from opening any other program so I have to manually reboot my Mac.  If I run Media Center in Mini view or Normal view and exit, no issues.  The same issue happens if I open MC 29 and MC 30.

Did you try build 30.0.27? Ventura doesn't work with the fullscreen code from previous versions of MC.

Thanks Bob!  I read your notes on 30.0.27 and I understood that full screen mode is disabled for the time being in 30.0.27 to prevent the white screen crashes.  It makes me think I should stick with MC 29 and just avoid full screen mode until a full screen fix is hopefully implemented for Ventura.  Am I understanding this correctly?  Thanks again!

You could do that.
BTW the white screen isn't a crash, you can get back to standard view mode by command 1.
