Tlongacre,

If you still want to keep working through your problem, confirm for me how you were transferring files in your last test, by synching or clicking on Upload?

If you have a crash after file four, try uploading the first 10 files or so and see what happens and let me know.

If you can do these tests, hopefully I can narrow down what your problem is and find a resolution. Everything seems to work well for others so we have to try to isolate what is unique to your situation.

Steve -

I also have some songs that MC refuses to put on the iPod, no matter what.  At the end of an otherwise successful synchronize, MC shows a dialog containing the files that couldn't be transferred.

How can I best help figure out how to fix the songs so that they can be sent?

Using iPod plugin 9.0.04

SeanC,

Double check the files that are not getting sent. Most likely the paths are incorrect. You can verify this by trying to play those files from within MC. Also, verify that the filetype of the files is compatible with iPod. If they still do not transfer, send me one of the files (steve @ jriver.com).

I was clicking on the songs, sending them to the iPod, then going to the iPod and clicking Upload.

I want to rip a few new CDs, so I'll do that and try using MC to get them on the iPod and tell you wht happens.

tlongacre,

Sounds like a plan. If you are clicking "Upload", try clicking options and be sure to turn off any conversion if you have it enabled. Perhaps this is where the problem is.
