Most CD's and downloads display waveform on Media Center but some don't.
Can waveform be added using something like audacity music software?

Examples:
1989 then Jerico The Big Area Canadian CD rip album had no waveform, but the FLAC version I downloaded did.

1993 Fourplay CD rip album Between The Sheets doesn't have it.
I downloaded it in FLAC and but it was one big audio file.
When I moved it as one big audio file into MC26 and played it, it displayed waveform, but when I used Audacity to split the big file into individual tracks, the waveform display was gone!

I'm using MC 26 and created a smartlist of albums without waveform.
(Media type  is  audio)
(Waveform  is  <empty>)

I would like all my albums to display it.

If anyone knows how to add waveform to albums that don't have it using software like audacity please reply!

Thanks for reading.

You need to run audio analysis again, ensuring that the option to calculate and store a waveform (in the library) is on

I figured out how to do it, but it didn't make a difference.

The same files don't display waveform, that's why the MC waveform option says show waveform (if available).

The only option I can think of is to try other CD's or downloads of the albums I already have and see if they might have waveform.

I successfully replaced 2 non waveform albums with waveform versions today.

Bryan Adams - You Want It, You Got It - 1981
Patty Austin - Carry On - 1991

I hope audacity has a way of adding it to any file.
The waveform always shows up in audacity editing.
