Topic: cannot create MP3 plugin (MC9.0.88) (Read 1301 times)

hi, when trying to rip - and choosing the option/plugin MP3 - I get the error msg. "cannot create MP3 plugin", the same when going to the plugin section and clicking on MP3 encoder.

this copy of MC is purchased, license installed, version no.: 9.0.88

... help?

Please try the latest build from today. It's 9.0.95, from the MC board. See "boards" above.

no luck - installed .95 and still have the same error.
from what I read about what the 9.0.95 version is fixing, the problem is slightly different anyways - the MP3 encoder is not even accessible - even though it is listed...

try downloading the encoder, maybe that will help.

hmmm... thx! it works.
(didn't try this since an MP3 encoder was already listed in the plugin section and the encoders offered on the download page are marked "v.8".)

yea, I know things are going to change on the pages soon.
