It under Audio->Device settings.

Note that if you don't disable that auto-configure option, when you change to a different output device in the same zone, say HDMI on a Mac M1 your sample rates will be forced to the only rate it can do which is 48k.
They will stay that way when you change to a different device.
It makes sense to create separate zones for each output device so you can customize settings for each (the settings are per-zone).

Thanks. I will look into Exclusive Control when I'm home tonight.

I only use one output device, so the current issue is not being caused by switching between output devices.

Are you also routing system output/alerts to this device or is it only used for MC?
