Extra Channels Explanation

Hi Guys, is there documentation that describes the purpose of the Extra Channels feature and when it should be used?

I have a 12 channel system 7.1.4, and it's set at 12 channels. I have no clue if it makes a difference to set it to 7.1 with 4 extra channels or if just using 12 is best.

it allows you to vary the jrss mix target independently of the no of output channels

in your case, 7.1 + 4 is the same as 12 (as the mix target is 7.1 in either case)

the primary use case is this is a 5.1 mix target but with > 6 output channels
