Playback Problem

Hi....So I was playing music this morning, my song finished, and I pick my next album to play, and I get the "Playback Problem" window and of course my music didn't play. 

I changed absolutely nothing in any of the settings, equipment, etc.  I'm playing my MacBook pro through an A&H (QU16) mixer, and the music is on an external SSD drive. 

To try to troubleshoot, I played music files from my SSD using Itunes (yuck!), from my DAW (Reaper), and from YouTube.

The first thing I would probably do is reboot my mac *and* reboot the mixer.
