I'm testing my Fiio KA3 right now and it plays 2X DSD bitstreaming with DoP over WASAPI.

DoP is direct true DSD.

The ASIO driver is not working well for me with DSD.  I don't see anything obviously wrong in our code.  Lots of devices work fine.

Maybe you right,but how this ka3 is working perfect with foobar with the same driver?Dop is not DSD512!DoP DSD is max DSD256,the same problem with Shanling UA2 ,DSD working but no sound out,is something with JRiver.Both got the same ich ES9038Q2M and is the same problem in jriver no sound with ASIO and DSD!

DoP support for DSD512 would require a DAC with a PCM sample rate of 1411.2 kHz. You have to use ASIO for that one, not WASAPI, and make sure native DSD is being used and not DoP in the ASIO driver's device settings in MC's Options > Audio > Audio Device section. But it sounds like Matt has this DAC too, and it doesn't work for him with ASIO with Media Center it looks like you should contact Fiio, like Matt also said, and see what they have to say (since it's their driver seemingly not working with Media Center).

I got Shanling UA2 and Fiio KA3 both got the same chip ES9038Q2M and Support DSD512 and Pcm768Khz and are working just fine with foobar, but in Jiriver no sound out for DSD with ASIO.

foobar2000 isn't JRiver Media Center, or vice versa. It's an apples to oranges comparison.

You should contact Fiio about it and ask them, since it's their ASIO driver being used. Maybe it has a bug in it?

Random thought, maybe Fiio's ASIO driver would work better with the 32-bit Windows version of Media Center and not the 64-bit Windows version of Media Center? That's something you can try, since foobar2000 (until v2.0 is out of beta) is a 32-bit app on Windows.

If they share the same chip in both, potentially. Maybe the manufacturer of the chip also provides the ASIO driver to both as well?

Thats the chip (the ES chips are great, 9038Pro when implemented correctly, with a nice output stage is excellent).
What DA Unit are you talking about specifically?

I spent some time on this and the playback speed is corrected if we expand the packed 8 sample DSD bytes into single bytes.  I was unable to find a format that made music play.

I wrote Fiio and I'll let you know if I hear anything back.
