Windows desktop resolution @ ‘Scope AR?

Is anyone using a Windows desktop resolution of 1980 x 820-ish with a 2.35:1 screen? I use my projector’s zoom (as opposed to electronically stretching the height and anamorphic stretching the width), but apparently my PC is projecting “more” than black above/below my screen. It’s a native 2k projector, but I think its black level is better than Windows’ so I’d like to take my PC out of the picture. Heh.

Thoughts anyone?
