Hello everyone,

posted before in German as well, maybe can get an answer a little bit faster in English...

Quick question: Does JRiver convert lossless, i.e. without loss of (especially image) quality?

Would have to convert some movies with video codec vc-1 to eg H264 mkv with the "auto" setting.

A converted movie tested, looks ok, except for chapters and subtitles, probably still needs to be muxed.

Could get an answer from Germans, Handbrake seems to work, including chapters and subtitles, just takes a very, very long time.

Possibly JRiver could bring a kind of selection for chapters and subtitles in JRiver under "Convert", i.e. take over from the source with/without chapters and subtitels.
