Weird startup window

Hi, I am new to this forum.  I have been using version 28 for a while.  Recently I have a problem,  each time I start my windows there is a small JRiver window on the top left of my screen.  I can not close it directly, what I can do is to click the media server icon on the bottom right of the screen and choose show media center, then close the whole media center that appears.  I checked and rechecked my settings in tools-options-startup, and am pretty sure that it says startup with media server only.

I'd try launching MC, then adjust the MC window to full screen, then close MC. Then reboot your PC and see if it launches in that small window, or the full screen.
