Track list double up arrows disappeared. How to get them back?

No idea how. On my media tablet, the double up arrows at the bottom of the pane aren't there any more.  I can't expand the window to see the tracklisting as I play an album. They were there when I started listening 2 albums ago. They are still there on my other PC. Just not on my media tablet.

On my media tablet, they are there for a standard view (e.g. by Genre, Album etc) but not when I select an individual album.

On my other PC, they are there whether I view the category or the individual album. This has been normal since I first installed MC v 23 or 24. Where on earth has it gone and how do I get it back?

No, I don't want to customise, i just want the default setting back.
