Thomas1952:
Hi,
I'm having trouble downloading the update to media Center 31.0.10 for Windows 64-bit. Have tried several times and every time Norton removes the downloaded file:
MediaCenter310010-X64.exe as being suspicious. The threat file name is: WS.Reputation.1. It indicates that the downloaded file is from jriver-cdn.com. As a result, I am unable to install the update. Might you have any workaround solutions to resolve this issue?. Thanks very much.
JimH:
Uninstall Norton. Let them know.
slerch666:
Not sure if Norton offers it, but you could try disabling Norton, download the file, install, then re-enable Norton.
You can also try excluding a specific folder from Norton scanning and see if it lets you install that way (just be careful not to put other things in that folder that might actually be malicious).
Matt:
The online virus checker VirusTotal is perfectly happy with MediaCenter310010-x64.exe. It runs 65 checkers.
