For simple HDR passthrough -> Enable "Use the display's HDR capability"
If you want to use HDR to HDR Tone Mapping -> Enable "Use the display's HDR capability" & Enable "Enable HDR to HDR Tone Mapping"

I have tried both HDR to SDR and HDR to HDR per Hendrik's directions, but changing 'Target Peak nits' has no effect (MC31). I have tried 50 nits and 5000 nits on both settings and I cannot detect any difference. My receiver/TV combo is Denon AX3700/Sony A80K OLED. I have tried enabling/disabling Auto HDR on the TV, enabling/disabling HDR in Windows 11, set Nvidia Control Panel to adjust video settings using the application settings. I haven't restarted the PC between changes - but I don't think that should be necessary. Changing peak nits in Madvr used to take effect without restarting. What am I missing?

Are you using madVR?  Try JRVR.
