JRiver Media Center 31.0.12 for Mac Silicon/Intel Universal build

I just installed MC 31.0.12 on my iMac running Big Sur 11.7.7. I installed the program on a trial basis, although I have a Master license for MC 31. Once MC 31 opened, I imported the library backup from MC 30, which appeared to work correctly; I have not done a full inspection yet.

However, after doing the import and letting MC 31 perform its self-restart, the splash screen told me immediately that my trial had expired and I would need to register or purchase a license. I did a restore through the website and downloaded the .mjr key. I double-clicked on the key but it did not register in MC 31; I had to repeat the process using the Restore License button on the splash screen before MC 31 would start. When it did, it showed registered as expected.

What this means, though, is that I've now spent one restore and got essentially nothing for it. MC 31 would not add the license from the .mjr file. Can I have that credited back? Also, this appears from my end to be a bug.
