Is there a right or wrong way here, PC or Limited for CPU

Is there actually a right and a wrong way for the video chain. Madvr always gave a preferred method that the CPU should always be set at PC levels as that’s what a PC requires for video. However I cant find any written instructions for this with JRVR unless I’ve missed it somewhere.

I have tested PC levels set in the video card and projector and perfectly display 16/235 in test patterns, I’ve also tested Limited in the video card and proj and again display 16/235 perfectly. Since this is the case is one way better than the other?

JRVR will always render to PC/Full levels, because thats what your desktop expects, and anything else would be "wrong" to a degree, and it also avoids any risk of double-compression.

Anything else should be configured in the graphics driver - if your TV/Projector expects TV/Full set that accordingly, if your TV/Projector only supports TV/Limited, set that there.
