I need to print an Album list for insurance purposes

Then in the details section only show the Tags/Fields you want to appear on the Excel Spreadshhet for the Insurance Company and set the sort paramaters to produce the list in the required order (probably Album within Album Artist).
Once you have set up the smartist run it and then Right Click on the Smartlists Name in the Tree and select the "Export Playlist..." option, then on the form that appears tell MC that you want to export it as a "Text File (CSV delimited)" and to only include "Only Visible Fields" and under "Output Range" select all. Once MC has createdd the file you should then be able to open it in Excel

Thanks for your advice, I started off with a Smartlist and was told I needed to do a normal view, which is what I did, very confused now! Doesn't matter whether I do a Smartlist, normal view of whatever, I cannot turn off the darn track list, how do I do this simple thing. I don't know which bit I have done wrong that keeps this on. When I go through all the lists, turning things on and off, one by one, the view for me never changes, whether by File/Category/Pane view the tracks are always there!!
EnglishTiger:
To stop the smartlist listing ever track in an album you have to set the rules up like this :-
jctcom:
Well I showed you in my earlier post how it works with Category and only "album" as the category. So we need to delve into what other settings are different for you.
I really don't have much in there.
But I guess the one thing I do have that might make the difference is under the category "Album" click on edit and near the bottom by "Sorting" I have it set to "Album Artist (Auto) - Year"
Nothing in matching or grouping.
Then in settings under "Chart" I have "Metric: Number Of Files"
Under "Included Files" I have no rules at all.
I have a "Check" beside "Use Parent Scheme Rules for file display..."
Nothing checked under "View Details".
Under "Tree"
I have "Allow Tree Selection" Checked with "Image:Audio"
also "Position: Automatic"
and Check beside "Support Tree Browsing"
Under "Advanced" I have checks beside "Enable Pane Tagging" and "Filter Panes Based On Selection"
That's about it.
Carl.

Hooray!!!
Thank you, I have set it up like your example except, added in the rule to not show mp3's and m4a's (so as my title say, All High Res Albums. I will play around with the columns to get a more itemised list, Artist, Album and Year.
jctcom (Carl) has given another version and I am going to try that as well, so that I get my head around things better.
Extremely thankful for your time and effort in explaining, cheers

Hi Carl,
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain things for me. I have resolved it by following the instructions from English Tiger.
I am out for the next few hours, when I get back I will give your instructions a go too, because I need to get my head around this, for my own sanity.
I will let you know how I get on.
Cheers

Andy
