Audio Problem

While Jim was typing - similar things to check

You have probably already done this, but check these in both versions and change to see if there is any difference.

1) Blue light lite in Audio Path

2) Volume settings the same - disable volume

3) Exclusive mode set in MC and Windows

4) WASAPI or ASIO driver - not direct sound

@JimH & @dtc

MC 29.0.91/ 31.0.17 & 31.0.21

Vanatoo T1E & Schiit Gungnir Multibit A2 (Wasapi exclusive)

audio path is always direct

mix of lossless WAV files played directly in JRiver and JRiver WDM driver for all audio outside of JRiver (Spotify, Youtube, etc.).

I have tried reversing the polarity in the DSP studio, but it doesn't fix the issue. Even if it did correct the issue, I do not want to rely on & introduce DSP in the audio path to fix this issue. Volume is the same for both 29 & 31 (100%). I'm sorry for the delay, work has kept me away from everything. I'll upload the files as soon as I can.

Also, interestingly enough, now whenever I use the Write Disk output for comparisons there is a visual difference between the two waveforms. However, the difference is similar to what I was seeing with the OBS recordings, not polarity inverted waveforms.

Let me know if you're unable to listen to them.

I thought you were playing the same file on the same system through MC29 and MC31. Why are the files for 29 and 31 different sizes? Or are these the Disk Writer files?

MLegend:
"I thought you were playing the same file on the same system through MC29 and MC31." I am.
All of the WAV files are the Disk Writer files.
