FabFilter Pro Q3 - Output format not supported.
« on: May 10, 2023, 04:06:38 pm »

Good afternoon,

I am unable to get FabFilter Pro Q3 to work with JRiver.  It worked previously, so I'm not sure what happened.  Tried on JRiver v. 30 and just installed and tried on v. 31.  Same issue.

Audio Path playing/shows 2 Channel.

Please advise.  Thank you.

Did you try the 32-bit version of MC?

MC31 crashes on VST3 filter modification
« Reply #2 on: July 13, 2023, 03:49:07 pm »

Hello,

I want to report a bug on MC31. I never had this bug with the older versions.
Each time i try to modify a filter in VST3 plugin Fabfilter pro Q, MC31 crashes.
I'm very unhappy and received no answer yet. I consider this purchase useless for me and i'm still running with MC29.

The same for me : Fabfilter Pro Q 2 worked perfectly with MC29 (with the player or even with the DLNA server and in 64 bits) and doesnt work with MC31.

I've written FabFilter requesting a license, but they never wrote back.  I sent again tonight.

FabFilter wrote me back and were really nice.  The plugin is not supporting the call to set the speaker arrangement.  I'm asking them for help and hopefully we can find a solution.  Thanks for the help everyone.

I wonder if there's been any update on this issue? I had to roll back down a version so that I could continue using FabFilter vst3 plugins. If the older versions of JR work then the issue is on JR's side - not?

I am experiencing severe latency when scrolling with intermittent freezes on downgraded v29.0.91   under windows 11.  Please advise where I could download version 30.0.59 64 bit windows (as I understand this is the last version under which the VST3 plugins work). Thanks

VST3 should work nicely using the latest MC31 builds.  If you have a specific problem, start a thread with more details.  Thanks.
