Track Images Location
« on: February 22, 2003, 05:28:01 am »

Hello,

It would be nice MC9 download cover art into the album folder.

Many people organize cover art this way. So we need to manually relocate every image to the correct folder. MC9 could do that for us.

I let it go to Data\Coverart And have no problems

why are you trying to make this more complex?

I don't understand this

Because many people organize cover art this way.

Beacause they like it. And that should be enoght.

But they have a punch of good reasons:

1.- Organizartional reasons: The album (music+cover art) is stored in the same folder. (Don't you store you tradicional albums with it covers?)
2.- Practical reasons: Albums can be moved, copied, backup without worring about the cover art (How do you copy a group of MP3 albums into a CD?)
3.- Compatibility issues: The way you suggest it is not the way other application use. So it is more application dependant. It is way less standart the way I suggest.
4.- Beauty reasons: XP users love the way it displays album folders.

Because people like doing thing the way they want, not neceserally the way MC9 or King Sparta suggest.

And I am not trying to change the way you do. I would prefer each one cuold decide by himself.
