Import CD not working

I want to import some Cds to my library. But JRiver tells me that there is no CD in the drive. Is there anything I can do? It doesn’t help to restart MediaCenter or the computer. Other apps see the drive an the CD and identify it correctly. Is it a problem with Ventura?
