Connect to Last.fm not working

I'm trying to connect JRiver Media Center 31.0.12 (Silicon) on my MacBook Pro to my Last.fm account (user name: seewasser). It's not working! In the web browser, being logged in on last.fm and after allowing access, I get the message "You have granted permission to JRiver to use your Last.fm account.", but then every time I play a track in JRiver Media Center, it opens the web browser displaying this message again: "The application JRiver would like permission to access your Last.fm account..."  No matter how many times I click the red button "YES, ALLOW ACCESS", it never registers my permission in the last.fm settings under "connected applications". What can I do?

There is a quirk in getting it to work, if i remember correctly, when prompted, don't click anything in media center, but log in and give access on the webpage media center opens, then click ok on jriver and it should work, or the other way around it's been a while. I've been stuck looping login myself
