MAC 34.0.034. Adding External Library from Hard Drive

The Add Library function does not work.  It only wants a link to a blank folder versus a link to an existing library even though it specifies this is an option.

There is a common misunderstanding with MC and the word "Library".

In MC terminology, "Library" means "database".  When you create a new Library, you are creating a brand new empty database.  This is probably not what you intend on doing.  You probably want to import music files so that MC can see them and play them.  To do that, use the Import function at

Tools > Import

You can also set up Auto Import to monitor folders and import new music whenever you put it in those folders.
