how to clear a user created library field upon playback

I had this all working just fine and then I messed it up. Please remind me how to clear a user created library field on playback.

blgentry:
What are you trying to do?  Clearing a field on play doesn't have an obvious application.

Are you saying that you used to have a configuration that would clear a specific field on play?  If so, what did that do for you?

Just trying to understand the problem being solved, as opposed to the method of solving that problem.

Brian.

rbmjr:
Just like "Last Played" "Skip Count" "Number Plays" gets updated when the track is played, I would like to update a user created library field at the same time as these other fields are updated.

Explore: "Options > Library & Folders > Expressions > After playback expression"

The Wizard of JRiver-ly Place responds!

Thanks Marko.  You're still teaching me things almost a decade after I started with MC and am starting to think I know a lot.  :)

Brian.
