J River going bananas when running backup

Whenever I run scheduled Acronis backups on my PC, JRiver starts looping through all my libraries and reading all the files, making a lot of HD noise. When the first run ends, it starts all over again.
I have to kill Media Server to stop it.
I'm running v 28.

Any clues?
