Black screen

Using the latest update mc30

 played foundation, we stopped half way though, then last night went to restart and had a black screen.
The only way to fix was go back to the beginning and slowly go forward.
Is this a bug in 95 should I wind back please.

I think it's safe to say that nobody knows the answer.

Screen problems are often video driver related.   The latest driver is not always the best.
