OK, I've got another batch of 200 CDs to rip so I though this would be a good time to talk about the ripping engine again.   Any plans in that area in the near future?  Real parallelized ripping and encoding, etc.

Just did another test...

Pristine pressed CD, Digital Secure, TDK 4800B (48X DAE), 2.4ghz P4...
3:13 to rip a CD to APE/Fast without the Simultaneous box checked
6:22 to rip WITH the Simultaneous box checked.

4:58 to rip a CD to MP3/High without the box checked.
7:01 to rip WITH the box checked.

Even the old MJ7 scheme would be faster.
