Hi, as the subject indicates, I am trying to use the Fill Properties From Filename function.  I do this regularly for audio files (and seem to have configured my settings for that) but my video files have a different filename structure so the normal settings need to be modified.  Here is how my video files are structured:

\\T-NAS\Multimedia\---VIDEOS---\---PHISH DVD FARM PART 2---\ph2023-07-29.Webcast.UntouchedTrimmed.1080p.hetyet.mkv

All I want to do is to have the filename that is in bold auto-fill into the Name field.  As of now the setting in the "Template" area within Fill Properties From Filename window are as follows:

Directories
[Artist]\[Album]

Filename
[Album] / [Artist]

It might be easier for you to do this without fill properties.  Instead, you should paste in the value of [Filename (name)] into the Name field.  Here's a rough outline of how to do that:

* Highlight the files in question
* open the tag action window.
* in the tag window, find the Name field
* In the Name field, paste this value:

Code: [Select]

=[Filename (name)]
That will put the filename into the Name field for ALL selected files.  Try one first.  Then try a few.  Then you can shotgun a big group if you'd like.
