Importing library freezing

Im trying to import my large external HD library of about 80000 files to my JRiver but it keeps freezing?   Using windows 64 bit Jriver25

It's probably not frozen, it's likely importing all the files making it appear frozen. I'd leave it for awhile (hours to a day or two) and let it do its thing.

No its freezing. Gets up to about 300 files and shuts down.   Its happened  about 4 rimes so far.   This may take a while.

EnglishTiger:
If you can get MC25 to open try switching all background tasks, like carrying out "Analysing Audio Files" and "Building Thumbnails" off during a "Library Import Session", close down MC and then restart it. if that allows MC to Import all of your media then run "Analyse Audio Files" and "Building Thumbnails" on batches of tracks until both routines have worked on all the tracks in the Library.
