Deleting files&Folders

(1/1)

okvaal:
I am doing some cleaning up on MC29, including deleting never-to-be-played-again albums. I've looked for the proper way to do it, without finding it, although I'm sure I have read it somewhere.
So: I want to remove those album from both the JR library and also the folders stored on my mac. What is the correct and easiest way?

marko:
Select the offending files, press shift+delete, check the dialogue, press enter to commit.

That's how it works on Windows at least. If you just hit the delete key, you would get the attached prompt, and would need to select the 'nuke' option. Shift+delete shows the same prompt, with the 'nuke' option preselected.

If there's anything wildly different on a Mac, someone will correct this, I'm sure :)

Thanks for your reply. It didn't work on my mac, but it was worth an effort. I was hoping to avoid the multiple-clicking procedure, but after all, it seems I'll have to go back to that.
But thanks a lot! :-)

JimH:
Should work on a Mac.
