fwiw... I run JRiver Media Center on Linux Mint....

In a very limited fashion.  Mainly I just use the UI to query things.

But it works for me, and works quite well.

This version of Linux Mint....

At some point, I'm looking to replace my current Windows client of MC that resides in the media center with a Linux-based version (when Windows 10 support goes away, I'm facing a fork in the road).

I'm currently investigating hardware questions, i.e., video card support in Linux.

At some time in the future, I may have questions....

But I'm not there yet....
