the data base will opened in read-only mode

I'm running JRiver MC 19 on a music streaming device which is networked (hard wired - ethernet) and the music files are stored on a Synology NAS. Had a brief power cut recently and since that I had to re-import to MC. Everytime I switch off the device MC is on and switch it on again, I get the message 'the data base will opened in read-only mode' and I have to re-import again (1 1/2hrs). At the time of the power cut the device on which MC is on was not switched on, but the Synology NAS was and had to be switched back on. Any ideas?
