Yes, just right-click on the top level folder, select Properties, and uncheck the "read-only" box. It will apply to all subfolders and files inside.

OK, I have tried that before and did not work when batched several folders together BUT now it is working. Strange! There must have been something else in the system that prevented that from working. Thank you very much! I will try the other suggestions end of this week when hopefully the new hard drive arrived:-)
