to reproduce

save some DSP setup as a preset
change the audio output device
change some DSP settings
load the DSP preset via the DSP studio option

the audio output device will change back to whatever was selected at the time the preset was saved

this is a totally broken given that the content saved when you record a preset is just the dsp studio config (and when the equivalent MCWS call only accepts the DSP config as a payload so doesn't have the same behaviour)
