I was listening to a cassette tape I recorded in 1984.

This song appeared .

it sounds like VanGelis to me, but that seems to be wrong. (apologies for the extreme compression, but I had to fit the upload into the 5MB limit).


Can anyone help to identify this song?  The usual sources came up blank...

Now that I know the song, I looked around and I found it on a playlist I uploaded here in June 2022, Progressively Longer, IV
