wav to flac conversion stops at 50%

wav to flac conversion stops at 50% for two the first tracks, set to convert two tracks at a time. Does this with all wav albums, started a few weeks ago. I have reinstalled jriver but that did not help. I am now converting using classic software "flac", it works fine so the wav files are ok. any suggestions?

found the problem. flac external was being used, I put back to flac internal. no more problems.
