It's been a while since I last checked so I don't know which update did this, but I am on public beta of sonoma 14.2 and all of a sudden I can choose 44.1 again on both the internal hdmi and another hdmi from a usb-c dongle. As this topic was discussed a bit a while back I thought I'd just bring the good news

I'm pretty shocked. I'll try it on my 14.2.

AGAWA:
44.1<48

bob:
I'll be damned.
It works on my monitor now with 14.2
32, 44.1 and 48.

bob:
Wow, it gets even better.
After 3 major OS revisions and 2 minor it looks like they FINALLY have it working now.

I can run into my Oppo-103 with 192k 6 channel through the HDMI on a Mac  M1 mini.
And the Sony Amp as well
