OK, I'm curious....
(1/1)
antenna:
What if...
You hear a song on Cloudplay, and there were a link that gives you the ability to purchase and download a lossless version of the tune you're listening to?
OK, I understand there are all manner of questions that need to be asked.
My first ones might be...
What is the resolution of the tune? Is it the crippled 44.1/16 that was created because it fit on VCR tapes back in the 80's?
What other questions might there be?

Purchase Cloudplay tracks?
JimH:
If we were to do it, the format would be whatever you're playing, and that file could be anything lossless or Hi Res. Like any other download, that doesn't guarantee that the original file wasn't someone's conversion from a lossy file. People sometimes do that, though I don't think most of our customers would.
antenna:
So...
You're listening to it. You like it. You can buy it.
And most important, you know what you are buying because you have listened to it. So much better than other sites that allow me to buy music.
Cool.
